Abstract: Benford’s law is an empirical statistical rule with wide applicability, describing the distribution of the first digit in diverse datasets. Here it is demonstrated to be compatible with the known masses of elementary particles, leading to “predictions” about the neutrino masses. Furthermore, it is used to support the elementarity of the Standard Model particles.
