Abstract: Benford's Law is used to find abnormalities in large data sets. Examples of the diversity of data sets include currency amounts, time durations, scientific and survey results, PIN numbers, surface areas, and numerical quantities. Learn why Benford's Law is useful and how to interpret the results it provides. Benford's Law is easily used and, best of all, not well known by fraudsters.
